The cast includes Natalie Axelrod, Marcia Katz, Michael Stulberg, Harriet Carnick, David Rives, Bruce Rubin, Arthur Green- stone, Sybil Oshensky, Helaine Sobol, Mike Freedman and Judy Berlin. -Directing the play is Earl Matthews, with Barbara Linden serving as student director. On March 10, the Student Council will sponsor its semi- annual Freshman Orientation assembly. to acquaint the new freshmen with the various school clubs and activities. camping techniques, and fea- tures extended canoe trips and other excursions. It is limited to 10 boys each period. Boys camps will have an in- creased emphasis on outdoor activities, including canoe and nature exploration trips, over- nights and cookouts, campfires, hiking, nature lore, games and sports. There are well developed waterfront programs with canoes, rowboats and paddle- boards to augment the swim- ming and fishing program. Arts and crafts, dramatics, singing and Jewish programming are included in the three-week pro- gram. Camp counselors are all col- lege students, while the admin- istrative heads are all profes- sionally - trained social group workers and educators. The first in a series of train- ing and orientation meetings for junior counselors was held earlier this month, in the home of Alan E. Schwartz, chairman of the Society's personnel and recruitment committee. Over 30 new staff members were presented with the history, philosophy and program goals of the summer camping pro- gram.
