guests of honor of the Barbados Tourists Board, when their ship,
the Nieuw Amsterdam, stopped at Bridgetown, Barbados.
Mrs. Max Ducker, of Tyler Ave., has left for a month's stay
in Miami Beach, Fla., where she will visit with her brother, Mr.
Isaac Fabricant, and sister, Mrs. Sam Goldberg.
Walter A. Winshall, a senior at Mumford High School, son
of Dr. and Mrs. Ted Winshall, was one of a small group of
Detroit high school students to be selected by the National Merit
Scholarship Corporation as possessing high potential for college
achievement, and was awarded the corporation's Certificate of
Merit.

Evergreen Sisterhood
Sets First Donor

Plans for the first donor lun-
cheon to be held by the Sister-
hood of the -Evergreen Jewish
Congregation, to be held at
12;30 p.m., Tuesday, at Holiday
Manor, have been announced
by Mrs. Harry Shiovitz, presi-
dent.
, A fashion show, in which the
newest in spring and summer
costumes wil be modeled by
members of the Sisterhood, will
be the highlight of the donor.
A cocktail hour will open the
program.
Honor awards of sterling sil-
ver bracelets will be made to
members Who did outstanding
work on this first donor event.
The donor is under the chair-
manshiri of Mrs. Richard Cha-
fetz, ways and means vice-presi-

-Formation of the Northwest
Profess ional Photographers
Guild and adoption of a code
of conduct were announced
this week by Bernard H. Winer,
president of the newly-formed
organization.
Other officers of the group
include George Drapkin, vice-
president; Sid Siegel, secretary;
and Leo Knight, treasurer. The
association has 19 photog-
raphers represented.
The code of personal conduct
asks each member to "observe
the highest standard of honesty;
avoid use of false titles, confus-
ing or inaccurate technical
terms or descriptions and mis-
leading terms or claims."
Members also have the re-
sponsibility of carrying public
liability insurance, maintaining
safe equipment, not moving
furnishings without authority
and other rules.
In photographing weddings
and other religious ceremonies,
members are required to con-
tact officiating clergymen for
regulations governing the tak-
ing of photographs and to
"abide by the rules of each
House of Worship."
