Carol D-reylinger, 16,
Maintains Family's
Leadership Record
A 16-year-old miss this week
kept intact a family record for
leadership in the community.
When Carol Dre;.linger was
installed as president of the
Oak Park Bnai Brith Girls last
week, she became the fourth
generation in her family to
assume leadership of a com-
munal group.
Carol's mother, Mrs. Leon
Dreylinger, is a past president
of tilt. Ivan S. Bloch Chapter
of Bnai Brith, and is presently
a vice-president of the Metro-
politan Bnai Brith. Women's
Council.
Her grandmother, Mrs. Sadie
Bienenfeld Haut, is president of
the North Woodward Branch of
the Jewish Women's European
Welfare Organization, a post she
has held for the last nine years.
Prior to that, Carol's great
grandmother, Mrs. Clara Kas-
- tenbaum, was the first presi-
dent and one of the organizers
of the Leehem Aneeim Society,
and was a prominent communal
leader in Brooklyn, - N.Y.
There are many' in the corn-
munity who join with Carol
and her family in hoping that
the chain remains unbroken
for mai y more generations.
