Rabbis Silver Form
Family 'Partnership'
as Spiritual Leaders

A famed father and son team
have been named to equal status
as spiritual leaders of the 110-
year-old Temple in Cleveland.'
Daniel Jeremy Silver, 31,
named a full rabbi, and his re-
nowned father, Rabbi Abba Hil-
lel Silver, are believed to be
the only father and son at the
helm of the same Jewish con-
gregation in America.
A unanimous vote placed the
younger rabbi in the post. His
father, who will be 67 next
month, said he had no imme-
diate plans to retire from the
leadership of the 2400 member-
congregation.

LONDON, (JTA)—The Arab
▪ boycott against Regie Renault,
• the French auto firm, was lifted
I in all Arab countries.
According to press reports,
I the ban was cancelled after the
I anti-Israel, boycott office of the
Arab League reported it had
I received . conclusive_ evidence
that RenaUlt had cut all ties
with Israel.
Renault cancelled its contract
several weeks ago with the
Kaiser-Frazer plant in Haifa
where small cars had been as-
sembled. The French firm sub-
sequently admitted it had done
