daughter, Sandra Lee, to Dale
Howard Stone, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Jack L. Stone, of 1318
Ardmoor, Birmingham.
The bride-to-be attended the
University of Wisconsin, and is
presently a junior in the col-
lege of education at Wayne
State University. Mr. Stone, a
graduate of Michigan State
University, is a member of
Zeta Beta Tau fraternity. He
now attends the Chicago Col-
lege of Osteopathic Medicine,
and is affiliated with Atlas
fraternity.

The University of Michigan
has adopted a new resolution
on non-discrimination. In a
letter to Borris Joffe, executive
director of the Jewish Com-
munity Council of Metropolitan
Detroit, U. of M. Secretary
Erich A. Walter sent the fol-
lowing statement of policy
adopted by the university's
Board of Regents:

"The university shall not dis;
criminate against any person
because of race, color, religion,
creed, national origin or an-
cestry. Further, it shall work
for the elimination of discrimi-
nation (1) in private organiza-
tions recognized by the uni-
versity and (2) from non-
university sources where stu-
dents and the employees of the
university are involved."
