Zedakah Club's Rovner-Kott Rites
Donor on Dec. 7 Solemnized Nov. 25
to Show Fashions

The 28th annual donor lunch-
eon of Zedakah Club will take
place at 12:30 p.m., Dec. 7, in
the Sheraton-Cadillac Hotel, •ac-
cording to Mrs. Jack Miller,
president. .
Under the chairmanship of
Mrs. Jack Greenberg, the donor
will highlight
the first De-
troit showing
of new fash-.
ions by Vin-
cent Mignon,
including
cruise and
spring w e a r,
late afternoon
a n d cocktail
dresses.
Music will 1),
Mrs. Miller
provided by the
Jules Klein Orchestra, and a
number of prizes will be award-
ed, - according to Mrs. Greenberg.
Zedakah Club, which was or-
ganized to' provide supplemen- .
tary aid to the aged, still • is
occupied mainly with this activ-
ity. The group also works to
assist children, and has pur-
chased an inter-com system for
the Penrickton Nursery for
Visually Handicapped Children.
Through its donor funds,
Zedakah is able to provide
clothing, linen, shoes and other
articles for older people wait-
ing to receive disability and
Social Security payments.

Slate Square Dance

The Young Adult Group of
Temple Beth El will hold its
annual square dante at _ 8:30
p.m. Sunday, in the temple.
The "Hayseed Hop" will fea-

In a candlelight ceremony on
Nov. 25, Gail Doris Kott and
David M. Rovner exchanged
marital vows before Rabbis
Hayim Donin and Morris Adler
and Cantor • Hyman Adler at
the Bnai David Synagogue.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin S.
Kott, of W. Outer Dr. The
bridegroom's parents are Mr.
and Mrs. Mark Rayner of North-
field Blvd., Oak Park.
Miss Kott was gowned in
ivory brocade, styled with a-
rounded neckline, lily point
sleeves and a fitted bodice. The
dome-shaped skirt had a train
falling from the back panel. A_
crown of heirloom orange, blos-
sons held her veil of silk
illusion.
Heading the wedding . proces-
sion were the maternal grand-
parents of the bride, Mr. and
Mrs. M. Prinstein, and the ma-
ternal grandmother of the
bridegroom, Mrs. A. Kienzie, of
Philadelphia.
Mrs. David Levine, aunt of
the bride, was matron of honor,
and the sister of the bride-
groom, Nancy Rovner, was maid
of honor. Bridesmaids were
Carol Charfoos, M _ arlene Ep-
stein, Linda Olen, Judy Stein,
Mrs. Stuart Sachse and Ethe-
leen Lichtenstein, cousin of the
bride. Linda Levine, another
cousin, was flower girl.
The bridegroom's uncle from
Staten' Island, Edward Rovner,
was best man, an21 ushers were
David Kott and Briant Katt,
brothers of the bride, Robert
Ruby, Barton Raimi, Stuart
Sachse, and Samuel Sobel. The
bride's younger brother, Jeffrey
Katt, was ring bearer.
Out-of-town guesis were from
Arizona, New . York, New Jer-
sey, Pennsylvania and Canada.
Following dinner and recep-
tion, the couple left for a
honeymoon to New York. On
their return they will reside on
Covington Dr.

Alumni Slate Benefit
Games Night Saturday

A games 'night to benefit the
Children's Hospital Heart Fund
will be held by Delta Phi Epsi-
lon Alumnae association at 8:30

Converted Japanese Scholar
Prof. Abram Setsuzau Kot-
suji, the Japanese
scholar
who recently converted to Juda-
ism in Jerusalem, will be wel-

country by a committee organ-
