Total cash collected to date

reached the $665,000 mark, it
was anonunced by Tom Borman,
general chairman for the De-
troit Israel Bond Committee.
Outstanding pledges total $293,-
000, Borman said.
The executive board of the
Detroit Israel Bond Committee
had a breakfast meeting at 10
a.m. Sunday, after which board
members accepted top collection
and sales prospect cards for the

Jewish Appeal study mission
got a revealing look TuOsday at
the Wadi Salib, the slum quar-
