Cane, commander of the Department of Michigan, Jewish War Veterans this week announced the appointment of Irving Feldman as chairman of the Department's . 1959 fund- raising effort. The drive for funds will cul- minate in a dance, to be held Dec. 5, in the new Jewish Com- munity Center. Mrs. Albert Rosen has been named co - chairman for the Ladies Auxiliary. A number of prizes will be awarded, in- cluding prizes of a new, 1960 automobile; and 10-day, all- Cane expense vaca- tion for two at the Carillon Ho- tel in Miami Beach. Dancing will begin at 9 p.m. to the music of Sammy Woolf and his orchestra. Proceeds will support various veterans and re- habilitation projects, child wel- fare and aid to Israel programs.
