Leopold brought suit against Meyer Levin and others in con- nection with publication of the book and motion picture "Com- pulsion," charging that the fic- tionalized treatment of the sensational Loeb-Leopold case invaded his privacy. In making claims for $1,- 504,000, it was thought that Leopold might be breaking a pledge of his parole, in which he agreed to stay out of the public eye. T h e Foundation, through the Wayne State Fund, has contributed $2,000 to the education fund this year and will make additional contribu- tions to sustain the program.
