Thus, the total count on be-
half of Israel's Suez case in

The General Assembly's gen-
eral debate culminated Tuesday
afternoon with a verbal duel
between Ahmed Shukairy, Min-
ister of State of Saudi Arabia,
and Arthur Lourie, chairman
of the Israeli delegation.
Mounting the rostrum to re-
ply to Lonrie's offer of immedi-
ate unconditional peace nego-
tiation with Arab states, Shu-
kairy started out by asserting
"there is no Jewish nation"
since "Zionist forces started
the crime" of destroying self-
determination in Palestine and
"Zionist gangsters" placed the
world on the brink of war in
1956. He said statements by the
Israeli spokesmen were un-
worthy of an answer and then
proceeded to answer by de-
claring there is no • possibility
of negotiations until Israel
accepts all • United Nations
resolutions, including refugees,
territorial adjustment and inter-
nationalization of Jerusalem.
"What are we going to nego-
tiate?" he asked.

Shukairy's speech was the
most bitter diatribe heard in
this year's Assembly. He said
Israel's offer was "fallacious"
because there's no Israeli prob-
lem but a Palestine Palestine
problem. He insisted all Israel
does is talk peace but does not
mean it.
Lourie then answered: "I do
not see any reason to go into
a discussion of Mr. -Shukairy's
remarks which are not helpful
to Arab-Israeli relationships.
Mr. Shukairy rejects any possi-
'buffs( of" negotiations. There is
only one probleth. - That is
