tok as well as blues, still main-
tains his interest in Hebrew
music and Jewish traditions. It
can well be said that Larry
Adler's musical career, which
will continue Saturday night,
Oct. 17 at the Art Institute; be-
gan out of a rich and rewarding
Jewish heritage.

TEL AVIV—Israeli scientists
will learn how the human body
reacts under the stress of diffi-
cult climatic conditions, and
the Israeli Army is helping
them.
A group of 30 soldiers this
week began a 360 mile trip
from the Negev to the Galilee.
Covering 15 miles a day, the
trek will last for a month.
Ten doctors accompanying
the group will determine
whether the soldiers drink
enough liquids, if food should
be prepared with more season-
ing to induce artificial thirst
and whether climatic condi-
tions necessitate changes in
diet.
