Mrs. Hayman Heads
Odessa Ladies Donor

Appointment of Mrs. Eva
Hayman as chairman of the
annual Child Rescue Fund don-
or event of the Ladies of the
Odessa Progressive Aid Society
was announced this week.
The traditional event is sched-
uled for Nov. 3, at the Hayim
Greenberg Center, 19161 Schae-
fer. Proceeds go toward child
rescue activities and Israel re-
rabilitation work.
Assisting Mrs. Hayman in
planning the event are Mes-
dames Regina Litt, co-chairman;
Ann Kopnick and Sally Ormond,
secretaries; Rose Gennis, treas-
urer; Dorothy Weinhart, ar-
rangements; Frances Shayne,
publicity, and Lillian Yourist,
ways and means.
In charge of ticket distribu-
tion are Mesdames Emma
Nathanson and Lily Jacobs,
while captains include Mes-
dames Anna Eserow, Rose Kay,
Minnie Meeron, Nellie Mony,
Helen Ring, Molly Rosenthal,
Yetta Schrebnick and Sara
Tushman.

president; Mrs. Sid Kaye, vice-
president; Mrs. Jack Cohen, sec-
retary; and Dr. Manny Shaw,
treasurer.
All three events will be held
at the Institute, 19350 Green-
field.

Bar Mitzvahs

Dr. and Mrs. Louis Harley,
of 17325 Fairfield, 'announce the
Bar Mitzvah of their son, Wil-
liam, this Saturday, at Temple
Beth El. An open house in Wil-
liam's honor will be held that
evening from 8 to 11 p.m. in the
