MRS. PETER GINDIN

A garden setting in the Foun-
ders Room of the Sheraton-Cad-
illac Hotel was the scene of the
marriage of Shirley Ann Suro-
witz to Peter Jacob Gindin, in
a candlelight ceremony Sept. 6.
Rabbi Israel Goodman officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. George SuroWitz,
of Pontiac, and Mr. Gindin is
the son of Mr. and.Mrs. William
Gindin, of Westfield. -N. J.
The new Mrs. Gindin wore a
short-sleeved gown with Alen-
con lace motifs appliqued on
the portrait neckline and fitted
bodice. Her floor length gown
was accented by an empire
train, appliqued with matching
lace and seed pearls. The bride's
finger-tip veil was of lace, seed
pearls and French imported il-
lusion veiling. On her prayer
book was an arrangement of
white orchids, ivy and stephano-
tis.
Dolores Surowitz was her sis-
ter's maid of honor. Brides-
maids were Lorraine Small,
Elaine Surowitz, Barbara Stoler,
Sharon Rodd, of Oak Park, and
the bride's sister Rosalind Suro-
witz, junior bridesmaid.
Jeffry Gindin was his broth-
er's best man. Ushers were Je-
rome Cohen, of Toledo, Michael
Surowitz, Bruce Serwin and
Richard Serwin, of Pontiac. The
bride's brother, Ronald Suro-
witz, was junior usher. Grand-
parents of the bride, Mr. and
Mrs. Rudolph Zeichner, of De-
troit and Mt. Clemens, also
were in the bridal party.
The newlyweds are honey-
mooning in Puerto Rico and the
Virgin Islands. Upon their re-
turn, they will reside in New
York City.

Sisterhood to Serve Lunch

In New Building

BNAI MOSHE SISTERHOOD
will meet in the new edifice
on 10 Mile am_ Kenosha, at
12:30 p.m. Monday. A dessert
luncheon is to be served. Mrs.
Herman Roth, vice president in
charge of program, announces
that Rabbi Moses Lehrman and
Cantor Louis Klein will partici-
pate in the program.

DOWNTOWN CHAPTER of
Bnai Brith installed the follow-
ing: President, Mrs. Morris
Wolf; vice presidents, Mrs. Sol
Bromberg, Mrs. Bernard Dan-
iels and Mrs. J. Messenger;
treasurer, Mrs. J. Saraquse;

Mrs. Sam Linde. The first
meeting will be held Wednes-
day, 8:30 p.m., at the Sholem
Aleichem Institution, 19350
Greenfield. Mrs. Sidney Eidel-
man will be guest speaker.

on the program.

at Beth Yehudah Synagogue,

p.m., at the Labor Zionist In-
