Vows Again After
50-Year Romance

Harvest Ball Gives Momentum
to Hadassah Honor Campaign;-
Mrs. Moses Epstein to Speak

To set the annual Hadassah
Honor Roll campaign in motion,
the Harvest Ball will be held
at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the grand
ballroom of the Sheraton-Cadil-
lac Hotel:
Hors d'oeuvres, followed by
dinner at 8 will be served
against a backdrop resembling
"paradise," according to Mrs.
Nathan Schlafer, chairman of
the Detroit and South Oakland
County co-sponsored ball. The
Fenby-Carr Orchestra will pro-
vide music.
Milt Kamen, comedian, will
entertain.
Mrs. Moses Epstein will bring
up.to-date news on Hadassah's
work in Israel, including medi-
cal work in research and treat-
ment; -completion of the new
$25,000,000 medical center; vo-
cational education program; -af-
forestation in the Safad area;
and youth aliyah program, in
which some 10,000 more Jewish
children will be absorbed into
the country by December, 1960.
It is for these projects that the
honor roll campaign will raise
funds, stated Mrs. Milton So-
rock, vice president of honor
