Chandler is interrupting a
busy film schedule to take part
in this tribute to the citizens
of France and Israel, which is
being sponsored by the Israel
Bond Women's Division. He will
greet the more than 300 Israel
Bond Trustees, Builders of Is-
rael, Guardians and Sponsors
who will attend.
For many years a starring
actor in Hollywood, Chandler
recently launched a successful
career as a Liberty recording
artist. He will make his first
public singing appearance in
the Detroit area at the festival.

author, actress and television
personality, will participate in
the fashion festival as guest

the appearance of three guest
models who are members of
Knollwood Country Club. Mrs.
William Deutsch, Mrs. Ber-
nard Marks and Linda Zucker-
man will join- with leading
professional models to pre-
sent 36 fashions. in this un-
precedented, exclusive show-

Balenciaga, P i e r r e . Cardin,
Chanel, Jacques Heim, Lanvin-
Castello and Guy Laroche, and
Israeli modes by Lola Beer,
Lilly Schleifer, Maskit, Aled
and Matzkin Brothers.
Mesdames Katchke and Stoll-
man pointed out that this
fashion show will introduce
several "firsts," they said.
"This fashion show has deep
meaning. It emphasizes the
political and cultural alliance
between Israel and France. It
also underscores a developing
textile industry in Israel, whose
progress is dependent in large
measure on thel continued sale
of Israel Bonds."

fashion festival, staged and co-
ordinated by Robert Cummins
of Milgrim. This festival was
previewed in Paris at the home
of Baroness Edmund de Roths-
child, and has received critical
acclaim throughout the fashion
capitals of the world.
The top couturiers of France
have designed costumes made
of Israeli fabrics for this pre-
sentation. Israeli designers have
created special effects as well.
Fur accessories are by Milgrim.
Mesdames Katchke and Stoll-
man are co-chairmen of the
Fashion Festival, while Mrs.
Milton Mahler is fashion festi-
val coordinator for Israel Bonds.
