As a climax to a full month of activities there, said host Harry Dinnerstein, the Mardi Gras Week will feature mas- querades, "star-studded shows" and carnivals. Shapiro this week stated that he is ready at all times to assist any veteran and to snake certain that the veteran receives all of the benefits to which he is entitled. The Rosenwald Post, now entering its 29th year as the only Legion post in the state comprised of Jewish veterans, has been active throughout the year both in veterans work and as a participant in Jewish com- munal causes. Among its methods of assist- ance to veterans and their fam- ilies are financial scholarships to children of former GIs, visit- ing the sick and providing other aid to vets.
