A 10-week series of televi-
sion programs on "Psychiatry
in Medicine" will be the sum-
mer replacement for the
WTVS (Channel 56) series,
"For Doctors Only," beginning
on June 26.
Designed primarily for the
general practitioner and others
interested in the medical pro-
fession, the program will be
seen on successive Fridays, un-
der the sponsorship of the de-
partment of psychiatry, Wayne
State University college of
medicine.
The half-hour show, which
starts at 8 p.m., will be intro-
duced by Dean Gordon H.
Scott, dean of the WSU medi-
cal school. Programs will deal
with alcoholism, narcotic ad-
diction, depression, the suicidal
patient, convalescence, invalid-
ism, children's emotional prob-
lems and psychotherapy.
