necessary to issue a follow-
up reprint in which he em-
phasized: "This is NOT a
fund raising campaign. Read
carefully—we need your opin-
ions and ideas."

Medical men and state offi-
cials have commended Osnos
for his public-spirited efforts on
behalf of the mentally ill and
retarded, as evidenced in his
educational campaign by means
of the two pamphlets.

Herzl Institute Schedules
Public Opinion Conference

The Theodor Herzl Institute
will present the first Confer-
ence on Jewish Public Opinion
in America, May 16 to 17, it
was announced here by Dr.
Emil Lehman, director of the
Institute.
The conference, in which
some 20 experts in the fields
of public opinion, public rela-
tions and Jewish communal
life will participate, will be
held at the Institute's head-
quarters, 250 W. 57th St., New
York, and will be open to the
public without charge.
