Third Seder Gathering
Temple Players Set
Drama Presentation
Branch 11, Labor Zionist Or-
ganization of America, will hold
their annual third seder at 9
p.m., April 25, at the home _ of
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kannon,

Mrs. Sarah Schiff, chairman of
the Seder committee.
The traditional Passover meal
will be prepared and served by
the women members, while a
special Hagadah, compiled and
edited by the male members,
will be used for the reading.

MARY LOU ZIEVE
"Night Must Fall," a three-
act suspense drama by Emlyn
Williams, will be presented by
the Temple Beth El Players
Saturday and Sunday evenings,
with a matinee on Sunday.
The play, which was a Broad-
way hit several years ago, is
directed by Burton Wright and
stars Vic Hurwitz and Jan Koste,
a veteran of stage screen and
network television. Others in
the cast are Harriet Stone, Mary
Lou Zieve, Mort Zieve, Marshall
Silver, Ruth West and Beverly
Cohn.
This production is the 14th
play presented by the Temple
Players. Tickets are available
in advance from cast members,
or at the docir preceding each
performance.
Miami Beach produces some
of the finest mangos in the
world because trees here are
budded to varieties proved to
be especially good. The mango
in most countries is permitted
to grow from seed and there-
fore does not have the benefit of
selection given by grove owners
here.
Detroit Serviceman Ends
Marine Boot Training
Pvt. Stanford I. Grossman,
son of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Hall-
man, of 20309 Burt, gradu-
ated Thursday from boot train-
ing at the U. S. Marine Corps
Depot, San Diego, Calif. He
now leaves for Camp Pendle-
ton, Calif., to complete four
more weeks of individual com-
bat training. Pvt. Grossman, a
graduate of Cass Technical
High School, attended Wayne
State University and the So-
ciety of Arts and Crafts Col-
lege before entering military
service.

PAUL BEN-HAIM, Israel's
foremost composer, arrived in
this country for a month's visit
under the auspices of the
America-Israel Cultural Founda-
tion and the Institute of Con-
temporary Arts. He came to this
country for the American pre-
miere of "The Sweet Psalmist
of Israel", his symphonic work
for harps and harpsichord, that
was played by Leonard Bern-
stein and the New York Phil-
harmonic Orchestra on April 23.
