JERUSALEM — Spokesman
for Iraqui, Bokharian and
Moroccan Jews in Israel
warned Tuesday that they
would stage street demonstra-
tions, marching with bodies of
their dead, if they were not
allowed to perform separate
burials.
Giving this warning to the
Ministry of Religions, the
spokesmen accused the United
Sefardi Burial Society with dis-
regarding recent regulations
which permit separate burial
societies.
They said that after a com-
mittee of such Jews had pre-
pared final resting places for
their dead, workers of the
Sefardi society filled the
graves and that they could no
longer tolerate this.
The spokesman declared that
the Sefardi society insisted on
monopoly in supervision of the
cemeteries and refused to
allow plots to "defectors." This
the spokesman said led to
numerous quarrels and charges
of grave stealing.

A Tree Continues Re-Try Dead Goering
.Lori.g Friendship as War Criminal

A friendship begun during
World War II, which even now
spans the gulf of the grave, be-
came known this week when
Mrs. Max Press, of 18268 Rose-
mont, received a check for $6
from Los Angeles, Calif.
The sender was Mrs. Viola
Hay, a Negro woman who lives
in Los Angeles and was a co-
worker of Mrs. Press' late hus-
band in a California war plant
Through the years the friend-
ship continued in Los Angeles,
where the two families ex-
changed presents on holidays.
Three years ago. when Mr.
Press died. his widow moved
back to Detroit, but the two
women corresponded faithfully.
The check sent to Mrs. Press
was sent to commemorate her
husband's 3:ahrzeit, and was to
be used to plant a tree in his
memory in Israel. The woman
also asked Mrs. Press to plant
a tree each for her mother and
brother.

in Property Dispute

BERLIN, (JTA) — The West
Berlin denazification board will
have to prove that Field Mar-
shal Hermann Goering, Adolf
Hitler's second in command and
commander of the German
Luftwaffe in World War II. was
a major war criminal and not
a victim of the Nazis if it is to
seize property he left in this
city valued at about 1.000.000
marks ($250,000).
Goering escaped execution as
a major war criminal by com-
mitting suicide after his convic-
tion by the Nuremberg War
Crimes Tribunal. Despite that
conviction, under existing law,
his guilt will have to be proven
again here.
Under the second denazifica-
tion law, property of convicted
war criminals in Berlin is sub-
ject to confiscation, although
that is not the case in other
parts of West Germany.
Goering's widow, Emmy, who
lives with her daughter. Edda.
in Bavaria, has managed to se-
cure the return of jewelry and
other property which had been
confiscated. She is expected
soon to recover Goering's luxur-
ious yacht, now anchored near
Krefeld.
The Goering property in Ber-
lin, which is subject to confis-
cation, is said to include camou-
flaged bank accounts, paintings
and sculptures.

'Fight Jews' Is
New Party's Goal

WASHINGTON (JTA) — The
formation of a new anti-Jewish
group was announced here by
Lincoln Rockwell, anti-Semitic
agitator who has been involved
in anti-Jewish picketing of the
White House.
The new group is designated
in material disseminated here
as the "American Party, World
Union of Free Enterprise Na-
tional Socialists." Rockwell pro-
claimed himself as the "com-
mander" of the new organiza-
tion.
Elaborately-printed material
distributed by Rockwell at
various points in Washington
displays swastikas and lauds
Hitler openly. The announced
program of Rockwell's group
says: "Our purpose is to be
nothing less than a world-wide
effort to free humanity from
Jewish domination."
The program includes the
intention to conduct "a scien-
tific study to determine if the
Jewish virus is a matter of
environment and can be elim-
inated by education and train-
ing, or if some other method
must be developed to render
Jews harmless to society."
It also announces that the
group will "establish an inter-
national treason tribunal to
investigate, try, and publicly
hang, in front of the Capitol,
all non Jews who are convicted
of acting consciously as fronts
for Jewish treason."
The Rockwellites also prom-
ised to "cancel all debts owed
to Jews by non-Jews, where
there is evidence of unfair
or immoral business methods
of conspiracy."
