Masonic Temple Sets Programs During the 1959 - 60 season the Masonic Temple will offer concertgoers a distinguished ar- ray of the world's outstanding virtuosi, orchestras and at- tractions, announces C. W. Van- Lopik, general manager. The Symphoney Series will once again be inaugurated by the Boston Symphoney under the baton of Charles Munch on Oct. 25. On Nov. 2 the Cleve- land Orchestra under the con- ductorship of George Szell will be heard. Itwill be followed on Jan. 12 by the Toronto Sym- phoney led by Walter Susskind. On March 24, the Lamoureux Orchestra, under Igor Marke- vitch will - appear. This will be their initial Detroit perform- ance. The season will close on May 4 with Eugene Ormandy con- ducting the Philadelphia Orch- estra. The Concert Series will debut on Oct. 9 with another "first" for Detroit — The Tarkarazuka Dance Theater of Japan.
