Richard Tucker, acclaimed by
many critics as the world's
foremost tenor, will present a
special concert at 8:30 p.m.,

of the court as guardian of
constitutional liberties. Judge
Voelker is also known as the
author of "Anatomy of a
Murder," current best-seller
now being made into a movie.
He penned the book under the
pseudonymn of Robert Trav-
ers. Norris is chairman of the
Detroit branch of American
Civil Liberties Union, mem-
ber of the social action com-
mittee of Business and Pro-
fessional Chapter of American
Jewish Congress and a mem-
ber of Temple Israel.

in Japan, and investigated the
death of American servicemen
at the hands of high-ranking
Japanese officers, leading to
the conviction and sentencing
of 20 high officials.
Judge Murphy is a graduate
of the University of Michigan,
where he was a star trackman.
Before being elected to Rec-
order's Court, he served as an

was a law instructor at the
University of Detroit.
