Ford High Band Gives Concert for Uniforms

When the new Ford High
Schol fields a football team for
the first time next September,
plans have been made to have
the school band march, in new
brown and gold uniforms.
The uniforms will be pur-
chased with proceeds from. the
band concert, being given at
8:30 p.m., March 13, in the

Cooley High School auditorium.
A, medley from the band rep-
ertoire, including a new .novelty
number, "Little Bop Riding
Hood," will be featured. The
band is Sunder the direction of
Sam Emmer, who is also a well-
known orchestra leader in the
community.

Mr. and Mrs. Abe Ernstein, of Pennington Dr., recently
tendered a sweet sixteen party at Jeri's honoring the birthday
of their daughter, Carol. There were 45 guests in attendance.
