For the first time in over 30 years of "temporary" housing, the Jewish Family and Chil- den's Service will move to its own agency headquarters, lo- cated at Curtis and Me y e r s, early in May. The building adjoins the new central build- ing of the Jewish Community Center on Meyers Road. Milford R. Pregerson, agency president has announced that the new structure will include private interview offices, a board room, library and other facilities for the casework agency. The JFCS now serves some 1,600 Detroit families a year. It is expected that the new, cen- trally located headquarters will add to the facilities offered the Jewish community. "Outpost" casework is now being main- tained in suburban areas at the 10 Mile Branch of the Center. The annual meeting of JFCS and Resettelment Service will be held in the auditorium of the new Meyers Center on May 17. JFCS and Resettlement Service are community agencies supported by the United Foun- dation and the Allied Jewish Campaign. German Court Orders Retrial of Neo-Nazi Variety Dancing ,94.1.0........4=10.4111.0 ■ 04 ■ 411•M•0•••• ■ 041•1•1411 KARLSRUHE, Germany (JTA)—Retrial of Karl Meiss- ner, national leader of the neo- Nazi Deutsche Bloc, has been ordered by the Federal Su- preme Court, which reversed an acquittal order handed down by the Munich District Court last September. The Society for Christians and Jews had originally brought a complaint against Meissner for remarks he had made in a speech, declaring that "Brother- hood Week" should be con- sidered "a week of repulsive- ness." The Munich court held that the remarks were not slanderous to Jewish people. Now the Supreme Court, in ordering a new trial, has held that Meissner's statements must be judged in the context of his party's program which, accord- ing to the court, follows "Na- tionalist Socialist ideology."
