JERUSALEM Life in storm-battered Jerusalem

reported.
The unseasonal snow, which hit the Negev over-
night killed more than 200 sheep belonging to a Be-

The snowfall and winds of the gale endangered ship-

sought and received refuge in Haifa harbor. The mas-
ter of the ship said he had just started unloading
freight at Gaza when winds tore the vessel loose from
its mooring and he was forced to make for the near-
est port—Haifa.

will tolerate no interference by

by Walter Eytan, director-gen-
eral of the Israel Foreign Min-
istry.
The Times quotes Eytan as
saying. that. it was "sheer non-
sense" to describe immigration
