Probus Award
Charles E. Feinberg was pre-
sented the annual Brotherhood
Award by the Probus Club of
Detroit on Feb. 21 for "his
outstanding work in promoting
understanding • between creeds
and races."
The award was presented by
Howard Budd Jacobson, presi-
dent of Detroit chapter of Pro-
bus, at the annual award din-
ner and dance at the Sheraton-
Cadillac Hotel. More than 300
attended and heard Feinberg
honored for "contributing in a
large degree to a better under-
standing of freedom and equal-
ity among all people, thereby
preserving and translating into
greater effectiveness the demo-
cratic ideals of the American
way of
Feinberg in 1958 became the
