proclaimed in the city of De-
troit by Mayor Miriani, will be
held this Sunday by workers of
the local chapter of the Brandeis
National Women's Committee.
In support of Brandeis Uni-
versity library and as a salute
to Dr. Abram Leon Sachar,
president of the institution, on
his 60th birthday, the local
group will ring telephones in an
effort to enroll new members.
The activity will be dupli-
cated by every chapter of Bran-
deis Women through the coun-
try, as it seeks to obtain thou-
sands of women to support its
major project—aid to the Bran-
deis University library.
