At a ceremony in Tel Aviv,
Israel, on .Jan. 27, Bluma Man-
delbaum. daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Mendel Mandelbaum, of
Tel Aviv, became the bride of
Jacob Breitstein, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Fishel Breitstein, of De-
troit.
Prior to moving to Israel,
Mrs. Breitstein graduated from
the University of Warsaw. Mr.
Breitstein is a former student
of the Detroit School of Elec-
tronics. He met his bride while
visiting in Israel.

Louis Moser Still
Training Youths

Many Detroiters who remem-
ber the work of Louis Moser
in training boys to be good
workers and citizens, carried
out here about a decade ago,
will be happy to learn he is
doing it again—this time in
Houston, Tex.
Moser, now retired. is execu-
tive director of Boys' Prepara-
tory Club, Inc., which is an
extension of the plan he de-
veloped while the owner of a
machine shop in Detroit back
in 1946.
His new club. which is con-
ducted from his home. at 3238
Kilgore, Houston. is engaged
in a broad program for boy s
who might otherwise become
juvenile delinquents.
The project is endorsed by
civic and business leaders and
is sponsored by the Houston
Junior Chamber of Commerce.
After leaving Detroit, Moser,
who has been a machinist since
1925, went to Israel, where he
spent three and a half years
training craftsmen for the Is-
rael Ministry of Labor and for
the cities of Haifa and Re-
hovot and in several settle-
ments.
He has three daughters now
living in Israel, three sons and
a daughter in Houston and a
fifth daughter in Midland, Tex.
