MRS. CYRIL FREEDMAN

In a ceremony held at the
Clinton Manor, Newark, N.J.,
on Dec. 24, Sheila Sue Drezner,
of Trenton, N.J., became the
bride of Cyril Freedman. Rabbi
S. Joshua Kohn officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Dr. and Mrs. Henry L. Drezner,
Mr. Freedman's parents are Mr.
and Mrs. Harry Freedman, of
2725 Elmhurst.
For her wedding, the bride
chose an imported Italian ivory
silk gown with a moyen age
neckline of peau d'ange and
reembroidered Alencon lace.
The full princess skirt, with
garlands of matching lace,
ended in a cathedral train. Her
French illusion mist veiling
fell from a wreath of seed
pearls, and she carried a Bible
covered with white orchids and
stephanotis.
Attending the bridegroom as
his best man was his brother,
Barney Freedman.
Following a wedding trip to
Nassau, British West Indies,
the newlyweds will reside in
Ann Arbor, Mich., where Mr.
Freedman is a senior at the
University of Michigan dental
school and vice-president of
Alpha Omega fraternity. He
formerly attended Wayne State
University.
Mrs. Freedman is a graduate
of U. of M., where she was affi-
liated with Delta Phi Epsilon
sorority.

Bar Mitzvahs

Mr. and Mrs. Julius Gershune,
of 18237 Mark Twain, announce
the Bar Mitzvah of their son,
Gerald, on Saturday, at Cong.
Ahavas Achim. A dinner in the
Bar Mitzvah's honor will be held
that evening at the Avalon
Room.

Arab Refugee Problem

$4,000,000,000. Policewoman
Mary Carter interrogates, in-
vestigates and counsels woman
and juvenile . offenders.

ceremonies Dec. 21, in the Park
Shelton Hotel's Pink Ballroom,
Gloria Ann Sherman, - daughter
of Mrs. Eve Sherman of Schae-
fer Rd. and Mr. Sidney Sher-
man, of Hotel Fort Wayne, was
united in marriage to Richard
Hoffman, son of Mr. and Mrs.
David Hoffman, of New York
City. Rabbi M. Robert Syme of-
ficiated.
The bride wore the new em-
pire-styled cocktail-length gown
with a sequined heart-shaped
cap and veil. She carried white
orchids on a white satin Bible.
Her attendant was Phyllis
Schrift, of New York, while the
bridegroom's brother, Kenneth
Hoffman, also of New York, was
his best man.
Out-of-town guests were from
New York City and Rochester,
N.Y. After a honeymoon in
Northern Canada, the couple
will reside in Queens, N.Y.
