Kaminsky, noted author of Jew-
ish books for children and edi-
tor of "Kinder Zeitung," month-
ly children's magazine publish-
ed by the educational depart-
ment of the Workmen's Circle,
largest Jewish fraternal order,
died here Monday. He was 75
years old.
A special edition of the "Kin-
der Zeitung" marking his 75th
birthday was published in Octo-
ber. Born in Russia, he came to
the United States in 1906 and
devoted himself to Jewish edu-
cational work. He was one of
the founders of the Sholem
Aleichem schools in this coun-
try and of the children's pub-
lishing house "Matones."
