Post Office Urges
Early Mailings

Early holiday mailing is
urged by Detroit Postmaster
Edward L. Baker. Cards and
gift packages should go into
the mail as soon as possible,
to avoid the Christmas mail
rush.
The post office suggests
first class mail for greeting
cards to insure prompt han-
dling and forwarding or re-
turn in case of indeliver-
ablity.
Return addresses should
be included both on the
envelope and card. And zone
numbers speed delivery.
