Mysterious Plane Drops
Flares on Israel, Jordan

TEL AVIV. (JTA) — An un-
identified plane flew over Israel
dropping flares. The unknown
plane also flew over Jordan ter-

heard. Reports from Elath said
that the population of the port
was awakened by explosions.
There were no further details
from Elath.

bombs on Jordan. A Jordanian

were dropped over Al Mazara,
