Every once in a while an event takes place that sparks the imagination of the entire
community and unites everyone in a common bond of enthusiasm and purpose. Such an event,
we feel, will be our Second Annual Detroit Dinner.

The affair will serve as a deserving tribute to one of our most eminent jurists, a leader
in the fight to provide modern facilities for the rehabilitation of wayward youth. At the same
time, it will focus attention on the phenomenal achievements of Yeshiva University. Currently
celebrating its 13th year as the oldest and largest institution of higher learning under Jewish
auspices. Yeshiva University continues to move forward as an unequalled source of pride and
service to the Jewish community and the nation.
