Pioneer Women Slate Gunther Book Review A review of John Gunther's "Inside Russia" will be pre- sented by Mrs. Morris Mendel- son at the next program in a series sponsored by the Detroit Council of Pioneer Women. According to Mrs. Harry Mon- dry, education vice-president, the Council's book review club will meet Dec. 6, in her home, at 22902 Bellwood, Southfield. Also under the sponsorship of the education department are two Hebrew classes for mem- bers, given at 10 a.m., Tuesdays and Wednesdays for beginning and advanced students, respec- tively, at the Hayim Greenberg Center. Instructors are Mes- dames Norman Leemon and Gerson Berris. Mrs. Harry Kaminer, Israel supplies chairman, advises that the local 17 chapters are cur- rently planning individual linen showers to fulfill clothing and linen needs in Israel. The items will be shipped directly to chil- dren's homes maintained by Moetzet Hapoalot in Israel.
