Texts," as next lecturer in the
Lea and Walter Field Lecture
Series at Wayne State Uni-
versity.
The lecture will be at 8
p.m., Thursday, in room 101
of WSU's State Hall, Cass at
Putnam. Admission is free
and open to the public.
Monsignor Skehan has stud-
ied Semitic and Egyptian lan-
guages and literature for
more than '20 years, is chair-
man of that department at
Catholic University and is
currently engaged in the
translation of a valuable set
of Dead Sea Scrolls located
in 1952. His findings will be
published by Oxford Univer-
sity Press.
Monsignor Skehan's talk
will be the first in a series
of three on various aspects
of the Dead Sea Scrolls
scheduled in the current lec-
ture season.
Father Edward H. Peters,
