OF THE. CITY OF HOPE

As most of you already know the many services and facilities of the CITY
OF HOPE, which include the Hospital and the Research center, are offered
Free and without regard to color, creed or faith. Just a few weeks ago,
here in Detroit, many of you were able to view the CESIUM RING, the
latest scientific advance in the fight against cancer. This weapon, developed
by the Atomic Energy Commission and Westinghouse, is the first of its
kind and is assigned to the City of Hope for immediate use in its well-
equipped hospital.

The Detroit Business Men's Group and the Detroit Community have again
proven themselves among the most responsive in the country. I am proud
to have been associated with all of the people who have worked earnestly
and victoriously for this inspiring •effort in behalf of mankind.

Ben Goldberg
