April Wedding Date Israeli to Speak
at PW Luncheon
for Miss Manning

MISS JANICE MANNING

Mr. and Mrs. Lewis H. Man-
ning, of Parkside Rd., announce
the engagement of their daugh-
ter, Janice Suzanne, to Dr. Har-
old Katzman, son of Dr. and
Mrs. I. S. Katzman, of Santa
Barbara Dr.
Miss Manning attended the
University of Wisconsin, and
graduated from the University
of Michigan school of education.
Dr. Katzman, a graduate of the
U. of M. school of medicine, is
a member of Phi Delta Epsilon
fraternity.
An April wedding is planned.

at the Hayim

country to do Benyamini
graduate work at the Univer-
sity of Michigan, will share the
program with Cantor Shabtai
Ackerman, who will be heard
in a medley of cantorial and
operatic selections. He will be
accompanied by Dan Frohman.
As educational supervisor of
Youth Aliyah institutions, Ben-
yamini has intimate knowledge
of immigrant children's Homes,
youth villages and agricultural
schools. He will speak on "The
New Values Acquired by Immi-
grant Children in Israel."
All women pledging a mini-
mum of $25 to maintain Pioneer
Women's network of children's
homes and its social services for
Israel immigrants, will be hon-
ored, states Mrs. Sam Wasser-
man, funds vice-president.
The current fund-raising cam-
paign, she added, will culminate
on Dec. 14 with the annual
donor event at Ford Audito-
rium.
Mrs. Paul Feldman, chairman
of Monday's program, advises
that reservations should be
made immediately with Mrs. Al
