Sheruth Women. Ready Annual
Masque Ball for Saturday Night

Putting the final touches on one of the posters that will
decorate the ballrooms of the Statler-Hilton Hotel for Satur-
day's Masque Ball are, left to right, these members of Sheruth
League: Mesdames MALCOLM LEVENTEN, ball chairman;
ERNEST SWARTZ, arrangements; and SAMUEL CHAPIN,
president. Proceeds from the dance assure that needy and
handicapped youngsters will be able to enjoy camp vacations
next summer. Funds also will be used to complete the Sheruth
Village at Camp Tamarack. Prizes for the outstanding masks
are planned, with the grand prize being a five-day all-expense
vacation at Nippersink Manor in Wisconsin. For tickets,. call

A combined membership
luncheon is planned by- all three
local branches of the Jewish Na-
tional Home for Asthmatic
Children at Denver at 12:30 p.m.
Wednesday, in the home of Mrs.
B. Albert, 4004 W. Outer Dr.
Israel Friedman, executive di-
rector of the Denver home, will
be here to address the members
on the work of the non-sectarian
institution. Children from all
over the world come to the hos-
pital to be cured of intractible
asthma, which does not respond
to medication.

The Talis and Tephilin Club,
sponsored by the Men's Club of
Beth Aaron Syngogue, will be-
gin its eighth season of services
and breakfasts at 9 a.m., Nov.
9, in the synagogue.
The club is open to all post-
Bar Mitzvah age boys, 13 to 17,
and features a morning service,
followed by breakfast and a
program of interest to the boys.

Fishman, a former athletic
