During his absence from the Council Klein was engaged in the investment business and served as a member of the Council's executive and com- munity relations committees. Klein, a graduate of Ohio State University, holds a Mas- tens degree from Western Re- serve University. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as an enlisted man and subsequently as an officer, part of his service being in Naval Intelligence and Security.
