The second annual city con-
ference of the Labor Zionist
Council of Detroit will take
place Oct. 11 and 12, at the
Hayim Greenberg Center, 19161
Schaefer.
A special guest from Israel,
Lily Bey-rack-Cohen, director of
thet Anglo-Saxon department of
the Ichud Olami, international
Labor Zionist movement, will be
principal speaker at the open-
ing session.
Sharing the program will be
Harold Silver, executive director
of the Jewish Children's and
Family Service, who will pre-
sent his views on the local La-
bor Zionist scene.
A musical program will be
presented by Sadie Cooper
Braver, well-known local violin-
ist.
On Oct. 12, delegates will
hear reports from Sandford
Goldberg, Council chairman,
and individual branch chair-
men representing Histadrut,
Habonim and United Jewish
Folk Schools.
A luncheon is planned that
day, and will be served by wom-
en of Branch 3.
