`Bachelor Parties'

MRS. WILLIAM L. GINSBURG

The Garden Room of Sagi-
naw's Hotel Bancroft was the
setting of the all-white wedding
Sept. 7 of Suzanne Levine and
William Lovemen Ginsburg.
Rabbi Joseph Katz performed
the ceremony beneath an ivory
satin canopy topped with a sun-
burst of white gladioli and
mums.
The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Louis M. Le-
vine, of Bay City. Mr. Gins-
burg's parents are Mr. and Mrs.
Leon Ginsburg, of Birmingham.
For her wedding, the bride
chose a gown of blossom White
peau de soie with a portrait
neckline trimmed in Alencon
lace and seed pearls, a molded
basque waistline and brief
sleeves appliqued with the lace
and pearls. Her bouffant skirt
fell into a chapel train.
Her fingertip veil was secured
to a matching. bow of peau de
soie, and she carried a cascade
arrangement of white roses,
white delphinium florettes and
stephanotis centered with a
white orchid.
Mrs. Albert Levine was her
sister-in-law's matron of honor,
while attending as maid of
honor was Audrey Graff. Brides-
maids were Shirley and Betty
Ginsburg, sisters of the bride-
groom, and Mrs. Herbert Harris,
of Dayton, 0.
Dennis Aaron, of Detroit, was
the bridegroom's best man, and
ushers included William Ros-
kind, Burton Friedman and Hal
Blacher, of Detroit, and Allan
Levine.
Following a wedding trip to
Quebec, the couple has taken
up residence in Ann Arbor,
where both will continue studies
at the University of Michigan.
The bride previously attended
M i c h i g a n State University
where she was affiliated _with
Alpha Epsilon Phi sorority. Mr.
Ginsburg is a graduate of MSU,
where he was a member of Al-
pha Epsilon Pi fraternity, and
is now a student at the U. of
M. law school and a member of
Tau Epsilon Rho legal frater-
nity.
Guests who attended the cere-
mony from out-of-state included
Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Beal, of
Cincinnati, 0.; the Charles Co-
hens, of Binghampton, N.Y.; Al-
fred Zackers, of Ft. Wayne,
Ind.; Jack Bergmans, of Holly-
wood, Fla.; Louis Katzs, of
Flushing, N.Y.; Lawrence Beck-
ers, of Chicago, and Mesdames
A. Winstein, of Rock Island,
Ill.; Julius Mathias and Dave
Stuart, of Nashville, Tenn.;
Elaine Fletcher and Mrs. Ernest
Loveman, of Columbus, Ga.

With the popularity of "Bach-
elor Tours" definitely on the
increase, the Jules Doneson
Travel Agency, 18246 Wyoming,
has scheduled a number of trips
for single men and women for
the corning season. -
These bachelor tours, Done-
son explained, are not meant
for the purpose of matchmak-
ing, but "simply to give the
lone traveler a chance to enjoy
a glamorous trip without the
common fear of being either a
fifth wheel or conspicuously
alone."
Exclusively for the un-
attached, bachelor parties are
being planned to Mexico on
Nov. 15, Dec. 20, Jan. 19, Feb.
21 and March 21, offering 15
days of sight-seeing, night-club-
bing and side visits.
Other bachelor parties in-
clude a holiday. trip, leaving
Dec. 24- for nine days in the
West -Indies; and two tours of
Europe, leaving Nov. 10 and
Dec. 12.
Reservations for all bachelor
parties are currenly being taken
by the Doneson Agency, DI.

Detroit attorney Jerome W.
Kelman will be one of the prin-
cipal speakers today at the an-
nual convention of the State
Bar of Michigan, meeting in
Grand Rapids. Other speakers
will include Sir Leslie Monroe,
former president of the UN
General Assembly and ambassa-
dor to the -U.S. from New Zea-
land.
