The first Jewish teacher to receive this honor, Miss Bunin has been teaching at Bagley for the past 14 years, during which time she has brought warmth and understanding to her young pupils. A native Detroiter, Miss Bunin graduated from Northern High School, received her teach- er's certificate from Detroit Teachers College and later earned her B.S. degree at Wayne State University. She is active in PTA activi- ties, having served with the traf- fic safety committee and the PTA newsletter publishing com- mittee.
