Each High Holy Day season,
for the past several years, The
Jewish News has printed the
same story about a remarkable
woman. And each season, the
story becomes increasing more
significant.
The woman
is Mrs. Sarah
Faber, who, a
94, is one of
this city's most
ardent work-
ers for the
general cause
of philanthro-
py and for the
upbuilding of
Israel.
In addition
to her years,
Mrs. Faber has Mrs. Faber
been blind for the past 50
years.
Traditionally, Mrs. Faber col-
lects funds from her family
and friends for needy families
and their children in Israel
through the League for Reli-
gious Labor.
At this solemn season, when
Jews traditionally take account
of the meaning of their lives
and give thanks for the bless-
ings of life, a large circle of
Mrs. Faber's friends, both here
and in Israel, will be saying
special prayers for her con-
tinued health and devotion.

60 Feet a Second

Do you know that you, your wife and children actu-

treacherous speed of 60 feet in each second when
you travel at only 40 miles per hour?

Responsibility to your family demands that you think
about your tires when you travel at the ordinary low
speed of 60 feet in each second!
