star who has been an instruc-
tor at Grossinger's resort in
New York state.
The rink, which will open
in early October, 4s now form-
ing skating , classes. Member-
ship information can be ob-
tairied from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
weekdays and 1 to 5 p.m.
Saturdays. Class sizes will be

In addition to skating and
classes. all interests from fig-
ure skating to ice hockey will
be fulfilled. Facilities include
snack bar, shoe-changing areas,
pro shop, game room, piped-in

TEL AVIV (JTA) — Dele-
gates to the International Israel
Bond Conference who are cur-
rently touring Israel witnessed
a combined military exercise
carried out by Israeli infantry,
•army and Air Force units. The
delegates, who were guests of
the Army Chief of Staff, Maj.
Gen. Chaim Laskov, were later
entertained at dinner by the
.General and his staff members
and received Gen. Laskov's
analysis of Israel's security
problems and how the army
was prepared to meet them.
Several bond leaders from
Albany. N. Y., delivered to Pre-
mier David Ben-Gurion a spe-
cial message of greetings from
Gov. Harriman of New York.
who expressed pride in the fact
that so many New Yorkers were
participating in efforts to aid
Israel's economic growth
through purchase of Israel
bonds.
Other delegates visited Elath,
inspected the rapidly expanding
port and viewed oil transporta-
tion facilities and - the copper
mines at nearby Timma, which
date back to King Solomon's
times. They were escorted by
Elath Mayor M. Nenner, who
described plans for a ten-year

The government has already
been approached by private in-
terests eager to build hotel fa-

German Province Lags
in Processing Claims

MAINZ, Germany (JTA) —
The province of Rheinland-Pfaiz
will not be able to complete its
indemnification program by the
end of 1963. as:stipulated in the
Federal Indemnification Iaw, H.
Dahlgruen, Secretary of State of
the province, told a press con-
ference here.
He revealed that of the 588,-
000 indemnification claims filed
with the state, only 85,500 had
been processed to date.
