MRS. DAVID E. CAPLAN

An altar arrayed with white
flowers was the setting for a
candlelight ceremony recently,
when Rochelle Nachman ex-
changed marital vows with
David Elliott Caplan, at Cong.
Shaarey Zedek. Rabbi Morris
Adler and Cantor Jacob H.
Sonenklar officiated.
The bride's parents are Mr.
and Mrs. Julius Nachman. The
bridegroom is the son of Mrs.
Ruth S. Caplan.
For her wedding, the bride
chose a gown of imported
French lace, highlighted by a
scooped decolletage, outlined
with appliques of seed pearls
and iridescent sequins, and long
sleeves that tapered to a point
at the wrists.
The floor-length skirt fell in-
to a sweeping train. Her finger-
tip veil of white illusion was
secured by a crown of matching
lace and pearls, and she carried
white orchids and cascading
stephanotis on her consecration
prayerbook.
Mrs. Reuben Nachman, her
sister-in-law, was the bride's
matron of honor, and brides-
maids were Florence Hoffman
and Sybil Goldin. Barry Lawton
served as best man, and ushers
included Walter Caplan, the
bridegroom's brother, Martin
Landay, his brother-in-law, Shel-
don Nachman, brother of the
bride,and Melvin Poger.
