Mr. and Mrs. William J. Serlin, of 17519 Santa Rosa, on
Monday celebrated their golden wedding anniversary at a small
family gathering at which their two daughters and their hus-
bands were present. They are Mr. and Mrs. Stanford Megdall
and sons, Stuart and Lawrence, and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur
Silverman, daughter, Louise, and. son, Charles. Also attending
the festivities will be Mr. and Mrs. Harry H. Serlin, Mr. Ser-
lin's brother, and Mr. and Mrs. Milton Serlin, a nephew, and
.their daughter, Ada, all of Cleveland, and Mrs. Fannie Gold-
smith, of Los Angeles, Calif., Mr. Serlin's sister from Los
Angeles, Calif., who, while here, also will join in ceremonies
marking the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Harper
Hospital, from which she graduated as a nurse 50 years ago.
Mrs. Serlin's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lou Kroh-
ner, of Detroit, also were at Monday's celebration.

The membership, for several
months now, has been conduct-
ing _daily evening services, it
was announced this week. Each
male congregant is being asked
to attend the services at least
once a month, both to provide
a minyan for Yahrzeit and to
make religious activity a part
of the daily lives of the mem-
bers.
