Shalom Synagogue. The newly-

At a candlelight ceremony at
Temple Israel on Aug. 12th,
Beverly Judith Slatkin and Nor-
man Lawrence Lippitt were
united in marriage by Rabbis
Leon , Fram, Robert Syme, and
Morris Adler. The bride, daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph
Slatkin, was given in marriage
by her father. She was gowned
in white rose pointe Chantilly
lace over white peau de soie
molded into an empire bodice
draped into a small bustle w,a-
teau back with a double shaped
skirt falling into a chapel train.
Her crown was of heirloom or-
ange blossoms with a two tier
finger tip veil of white silk
illusion. Her bouquet was of
white orchids and stephanotis.
The bride was attended by
Miss Sarah Lippitt, sister of the
groom, as maid of honor. The
