Nuts to Jerusalem

They are laying in a supply
of acorns at the Biblical Zoo in
Jerusalem. This is in readiness
for four new residents arriving
via air from the Philadelphia
Zoo. Two male and two female
squirrels are enroute to Israel,
their fares paid by the children
of the Jewish Community Cen-
ter of Norristown, to go on ex-
hibit. The little gray squirrels,
so common in American parks
and on lawns, has disappeared
from Israel since the time they
were mentioned in the bible.
