ground facilities for the Circle

Sunday's program will begin
at 12 noon, at the Sholem Alei-
chem Institute, 19350 Green-
field, when a reception will be
tendered for Stern. A caval-
cade, of cars will then proceed,
to the site of the new building
for the cornerstone ceremonies.

Klarman to Speak
at Herzl-Jabotinsky
Memorial Meeting
Joseph Klarman, a pioneer of
the Polish Revisionist move-
ment, member of the world
executive of the Herut Revision-
ist Organization and vice chair-
man of the general council of
the World Zionist Organization,
will be guest speaker at a me-
morial meeting in memory of
Theodor Herzl and Vladimir
Jabotinsky, at - 8:30 p.m., Tues-
day, at Cong. Ahavas Achim,
19190 Schaefer.
Klarman was very active dur-
ing the war in the rescue of 1
Jewish victims of Nazis and
aided in their emigration to
Palestine. After the war, he
was instrumental in the transfer
of tens of thousands of Jews
from Communist countries to
the Jewish state. He was a lead-
er in early attempts at organ-
izing Polish Jewry for Zionism.
Klarman has served as vice-
chairman of the last two Zion-
ist Congresses, both held in
Jerusalem.
