Is He Really on the Decline?

(Editor's Note: Is the American male on the decline?
Are flowering womanhood and middle-class conformity now
threatening his one-time supremacy? In. order to shed an
aura of clarity on this question, Random Home, Inc. (457
Madison. New York 22, N.Y.) has published "The Decline
of the American Male," a three-part series reprinted from
articles which appeared in Look Magazine some months ago.
Giving their appraisals of the status of American masculinity,
by way of open letters to each other, are Frank Simons,
Jewish News city editor, and his bo--, er—his wife, Lucy,
who, if she doesn't whiplash our city editor, at least rules
the roost of the three little Simonses.)
